The 2026 Saimaa Film Festival program will be published in June. We promise to once again feature high-quality films, international guest filmmakers, and unforgettable film experiences in the unique landscapes of Lake Saimaa. Stay tuned – we will be releasing a preview of the program before the full program is released.

We are particularly pleased to announce that the festival program has selected the latest film by French film master François Ozon, The Stranger (France, 2025). The Finnish premiere will be shown at the Saimaa Film Festival on August 14, 2026.
