Now we’re looking ahead: applications for the 2026 festival have begun! Submissions are open until March 31, 2026.
We are once again looking for bold, inventive, and visually powerful films: feature and short fiction films, art films, and documentaries. Come showcase your work amidst the lake landscapes and forests of Saimaa, where cinema truly comes alive. 🌿🌊
Next Saimaa Film Festival will take place 12.-16.8.2026 in South Karelia.
