We are collaborating with the South Karelia Event Cluster. The cluster will be organizing the Event Laboratory in Imatra on August 22. We highly recommend participating, as you can conveniently head from Cultural Centre Virta directly to the Saimaa Film Festival events at Imatrankoski afterwards.

The Saimaa Event Laboratory is a national meeting point for professionals, developers, and influencers in the event and tourism industries. It brings together experts from various fields who wish to create new perspectives, break boundaries, and drive regional growth through events.

The core values of the Event Laboratory are innovation, ideation, collaboration, and development. In its first year, the event will focus on how cooperation through events can enhance and transform regional vitality, tourism, and community spirit. The program will begin with presentations from experienced industry professionals, followed by group workshops where participants will collaboratively build new ideas for event culture, drawing inspiration from the keynote talks.

The event is free of charge and open to all.

The seminar will take place on August 22 in Imatra, at the Cultural Centre Virta, from 9:00 to 16:30.
