🎬 A Heartfelt Thank You for Being Part of Saimaa Film Festival 2026!

We would like to express our deepest gratitude to everyone who helped make Saimaa Film Festival 2026 such an unforgettable experience!

A warm thank you to all the filmmakers, festival guests, audiences, volunteers, partners, and supporters. Your dedication, trust, enthusiasm, and generosity made this festival possible. Without you, none of this would have happened!

Once again, Saimaa Film Festival brought together filmmakers and audiences from around the world. Inspiring films, meaningful discussions, creative workshops, and countless unforgettable encounters created the unique atmosphere that makes our festival so special.

This is what cinema and culture are truly about: bringing people together, building connections, sharing new ideas, and creating experiences that stay with us long after the festival ends.

For us, Saimaa Film Festival is much more than an event lasting just a few days. It is a long-term vision and a growing international meeting place for cinema, creativity, and cultural exchange.

Our ambition is to continue building an international film festival that connects people across the beautiful Saimaa region, opens doors to new collaborations, and strengthens the position of South Karelia as a vibrant meeting point for filmmakers, artists, and audiences from around the world.

🎬 SAVE THE DATES: 11–14 AUGUST 2027!

We look forward to welcoming you back for another inspiring celebration of cinema, creativity, and friendship!

Stay tuned! We will soon be sharing more exciting news about next year's festival and its programme.

Thank you for being part of our story. We can't wait to create new memories together in 2027!

With warmest wishes and gratitude,

The Saimaa Film Festival Team
