Saimaa Film Festival is a new film festival taking place in South Karelia from August 22 to 24, 2025.
The festival will spread along the shores of Lake Saimaa, offering unforgettable cinematic experiences.
We’re looking for enthusiastic volunteers to help organize the event!

Shifts: approx. 6 hours/day. We aim to find suitable schedules and tasks for everyone.
Volunteers are needed between August 20–25, 2025.

We have a wide range of tasks available:

  • Security and order supervision at film screenings (in Imatra and elsewhere in South Karelia)

  • Guiding and transporting performers

  • Handling technical equipment and setting up screens

  • Arranging seating and tidying up venues

  • Selling merchandise at the info point

  • Ticket sales, guiding, and customer service

  • Distributing promotional materials

We are also looking for team leaders for various duties!

Orientation Meetings and Registration

 Volunteer orientation and training sessions will be held in June and July, also available online.
